AMUSEMENT PARKS

Amusement park Szczecin. Szczecin does not yet have a fully developed amusement park. A park is being built near the town Gryfice, but it is located 100 kilometres from Szczecin. However, there is a unique place in Szczecin – Holiday Park Szczecin on the island of Łasztownia, alongside the adjacent Miejska Strefa Letnia on Grodzka Island. Together, they form the largest outdoor entertainment zone in Szczecin, catering for children, teenagers, and adults. The main attraction of Holiday Park Szczecin is the 55-metre-high Ferris wheel, "Wheel of Szczecin". In contrast, Miejska Strefa Letnia features an artificial beach, dining options, and a variety of events, parties, and activities that attract both families with children and young people. Szczecin also has several indoor play areas, including Kids Arena  and PowerLand.

Amusement park West Pomerania. Among several facilities, Pomerania Fun Park stands out as the largest year-round amusement park in West Pomerania. Unfortunately, it is located in Kołobrzeg, 140 kilometres from Szczecin.

Amusement park Germany. Unfortunately, the largest German amusement parks are not close to the Polish border. However, Familiengarten Eberswalde is worth visiting. It is 100 kilometres from Szczecin, but thanks to the highway, it can be reached in about an hour.

FABRYKA WODY

WATER PARKS

Water park Szczecin. Fabryka Wody Szczecin is a newly opened large water park. It is something Szczecin can be proud of, because although it is not the biggest water park in Poland, it is one of the most modern facilities of its kind. It includes an educational zone, pools with slides, and a sauna area.

Water park Świnoujście. If you take a trip to the seaside, it is worth spending some time at Baltic Park Molo Aquapark. Attractions include an artificial surfing wave, a wild river, saunas, and jacuzzis.

Water park Międzyzdroje. There is no water park in Międzyzdroje yet, but a seaside water park is currently under construction as part of the Bel Mare & Aqua Resort project. The investment is expected to be completed by 2026.

Water park West Pomerania. A short distance from Szczecin (30 km) is Aquapark Gryfino. If you are planning a longer trip to the seaside, a great option is Aquapark Zalewski in Mrzeżyno, near Kołobrzeg.

SIMULATORS

Recently, sim racing – car racing simulation – has been gaining popularity. These are not just racing games on a computer. In sim racing, the player sits in a special device (sim racing cockpit), holds the steering wheel, presses pedals, and sees a wide image of the track on multiple screens. In Szczecin, Strefa Racing offers a realistic driving simulator experience.

A racing simulator is not the only option of this type. In Szczecin, you can also visit the Indoorgolf simulator located in the Top Shopping mall.

VIRTUAL REALITY

Virtual reality (VR) is a three-dimensional digital environment created using information technology, designed to simulate the real world or depict a fictional one. To experience it, VR glasses are required. Szczecin has a great virtual reality venue called VR Planet, offering a variety of VR games.

LASER TAG

Laser tag is a sport similar to paintball, which is why it is sometimes called "laser paintball". Instead of paintballs, it uses infrared beams. Shots from a special gun are registered via sensors placed on the opponent's vest. In Szczecin, the game can be played at Labirynt Arena. The game takes place in a specially designed arena filled with maze-like corridors, hidden spots, obstacles, and covers where players can take shelter and engage in battle.

ESCAPE ROOM

An escape room is a team game in which participants are locked inside a puzzle-filled room. They have 60–90 minutes to solve the puzzles that lead to the exit, relying on their intelligence, logical thinking, and manual skills.

Szczecin has several places offering escape rooms for children, families, or groups of friends. Labirynt Arena has two rooms: Amazonia and Sherlock. Both are suitable for children aged 12 and up. ESC Room offers three escape rooms: one called Se7en for participants aged 16 and older, and two rooms with no age restrictions: White Wolf and Buried Alive.
