Stajnia Brzózki
HORSE RIDING
We encourage guests spending their holidays with us to enjoy horse riding at Stajnia Brzózki in the neighbouring village, just a few minutes' drive from us. We mention this on the page about attractions at Manowce. If booking a ride at Stajnia Brzózki is not possible, you can try other equestrian centres around Szczecin, such as Verso La Natura in the village of Warnik, about a 45-minute drive from Manowce. If you are an experienced rider and plan to go horseback riding during your stay at Manowce, it is worth bringing the appropriate riding attire from home.

GOLF
If you are visiting Manowce Palace and want to find a good golf course nearby, we have some interesting suggestions. The first is Binowo Park Golf Club. At Binowo, golf is just one of the pleasures, as the course is set in the picturesque hills of the Szczecin Landscape Park. Szczecin is not the only option. We also recommend the German Krugsdorf Golf Club, located at a similar distance from Manowce as Binowo. Both clubs host golf tournaments, which require advance registration. If you play golf and plan to visit a golf course during your stay at Manowce Palace, we advise bringing your own equipment.

TENNIS
If you feel like playing tennis during your stay at Manowce, you will need to travel to a nearby tennis court, as we do not have one on site. The closest courts are in Nowe Warpno and Police, but we are not sure if they will meet your expectations. Szczecin seems to be the best choice for tennis, as it offers many tennis courts. Szczecin also has several tennis schools. It is worth visiting Szczecin Tennis Centre or Szczecin Tennis School. If you are coming to Manowce with plans for a tennis match, bring your own attire from home.

SQUASH
If you play squash or want to try it for the first time during your stay at Manowce, Szczecin is the right place. You can test your skills at Squash Zone Club or Rampa Squash Club. If you have your own squash attire and equipment, we recommend you bring it with you.

SWIMMING POOL
Since Manowce Palace is located right on the shore of the Szczecin Lagoon, we encourage our guests to swim in the lagoon, especially since we do not have our own swimming pool. However, if guests prefer a pool over the lagoon, they do not have to travel far. Szczecin has a great swimming facility, Arkonka, which features children's pools, slides, and other attractions. You can read more about the nearest water parks below in the entertainment section.
For our adult guests who want to swim on their own, an indoor swimming pool is the best option. Szczecin and Police offer several such facilities.
Szczecin swimming pools. Szczecin has one swimming pool with a length of 50 metres: Floating Arena, as well as several pools with a length of 25 metres, including: Maritime University Swimming Pool and the Sports Education Centre Swimming Pool. It is best to book a spot in advance.
Police swimming pool. A 20-minute drive from Manowce Palace, in Police, is the Swimming Pool at the Ignacy Łukasiewicz School Complex with a 25-metre-long pool.

FITNESS
Guests of Manowce Palace can go jogging in the garden and forest or practise yoga in the palace or by the lagoon's shore. Since we do not have a fitness area or gym with proper equipment, we can recommend nearby fitness clubs.
Police fitness. A 20-minute drive from Manowce, there is the MultiSolar Fitness Club In Police. In addition to the fitness area and gym, it offers solariums, a sauna, and a Slim Silhouette Studio.
Szczecin fitness. When it comes to fitness clubs and gyms, Szczecin has a great selection. There are both well-known chain gyms and local clubs, such as Fitness Point Szczecin, Fitness World Szczecin and Fitness Club Szczecin.

CLIMBING WALL
If you want to treat your children to the thrill of a climbing wall during your holiday at Manowce, Szczecin welcomes you to climbing centres such as Big Wall and GEKO. Although the main activity at these places is climbing, they also offer other attractions that can be enjoyed on the same visit. If you regularly practise climbing at home, bring your own gear, especially climbing shoes. In general, climbing centres provide the necessary equipment, such as harnesses, helmets, and ropes.

BOWLING
Bowling is a great form of entertainment, but it requires a dedicated bowling alley. If you want to go bowling while staying at Manowce Palace, we recommend Szczecin. If you are looking for a bowling alley closer to Manowce, Police is the right place. When going to a bowling alley, it is worth bringing bowling shoes. You can use your own or rent them on site.
Szczecin bowling. Szczecin has two modern bowling alleys. The leading one, located in the city centre, is called MK Bowling Szczecin. In Szczecin, it is often referred to as the Galaxy Bowling Alley, as it is located in the Galaxy shopping centre. The second one is in the Szczecin Tennis Centre on the right bank of the Oder.
Police bowling. Bowling is one of the attractions at the Champions Club entertainment centre in Police.

SHOOTING RANGE
You do not need to be an experienced shooter to visit a shooting range. At the range, you can either purchase a shooting session or take a short shooting course followed by a session. The shooting club provides everything necessary: weapons, ammunition, targets, and protective glasses. Shooting courses led by an instructor must be booked in advance.
Szczecin shooting range. The best choice seems to be Delve GT Shooting Range, as it offers various shooting packages and is centrally located.
Pucice shooting range. If you prefer to look for a shooting range outside Szczecin, the J. Flasza Shooting Centre in Pucice is worth considering. Although it is not in Szczecin, it is located right on the city's border. The centre has an interesting offer for beginners as well as for experienced shooters.

ARCHERY
As for archery, it seems that Szczecin does not have a place where you can pay for an archery session with an instructor and equipment. However, there are clubs in Szczecin that organize classes for those interested: Compound Barebow Archery Szczecin Club and the Defmar Academy of Archery and Shooting Sports. You should call them to ask if and when it is possible to join such classes and where exactly the archery range is located.

SKATEPARKS
The classic skateboard is still very popular. If, during your holiday at Manowce, you feel like skateboarding, the closest place is the year-round indoor Skatepark Szczecin. There, you will find the most popular obstacles, such as a bank with an adjustable shelf, a funbox with three sections, and a quarter pipe transitioning into a quarter wall. Szczecin also offers several outdoor skate parks for skateboard enthusiasts.
Some guests bring their own electric skateboards. Unfortunately, it is not possible to ride them at Manowce, so we recommend taking them on a trip to Szczecin. It is important to remember that an electric skateboard can only be used on a bike path or on the sidewalk if there is no bike path available.

ROLLERBLADES AND ROLLER SKATES
Szczecin has great outdoor routes for rollerblading. These same routes are also suitable for roller skates. It is worth skating along the Odra River Boulevards or on Trasa Zamkowa (Castle Route) while admiring the panorama of the Old Town, as well as at Solidarności Square near the Philharmonic. All of these places are close to each other. For beginners, a roller rink would be a better choice. Szczecin has two places where you can skate and take rollerblading lessons: PNP Arena Skatepark and Szczecin Roller School. Unfortunately, Szczecin no longer has a dedicated roller rink.

ROPE PARK
A rope park is a system of ropes, ladders, bridges, and platforms. Between these elements, there are various difficulty-level routes adapted to the physical condition and skills of participants. One of the attractions is a zipline, which allows you to slide along a rope. A rope park for children is an exceptional experience, but the most challenging routes in a rope park for adults can be quite demanding.
Rope park Szczecin. Głębokie is a lake on the outskirts of the city, en route to Manowce Palace. Beside this lake, there is a rope park called Tarzania, which offers numerous attractions, including a zipline for both children and adults.
Rope park Międzyzdroje. Guests of Manowce Palace who take a trip to the seaside are encouraged to visit the Bluszcz Rope Park in Międzyzdroje.
Rope park Świnoujście. The same company operates the Bluszcz Rope Park in Świnoujście

TRAMPOLINE PARK
Children love trampolines. Szczecin has two trampoline parks located in different parts of the city. Both parks operate under the Fun Jump brand. The main trampoline area is a place for exercise, jumps, and acrobatics. There is also a foam pit, trampoline acrobatic tracks ending in basketball hoops, and other attractions.

PAINTBALL
Although the peak popularity of paintball has passed, many people still enjoy this activity. If you want to play paintball, Szczecin offers several locations, including Piranha Paintball and Marland Dąbie Paintball. Before heading there, it is best to call and ask about availability. It is also recommended that you go with a group, as groups smaller than eight people are usually combined with others.
There is also something called laser paintball. Szczecin has a place where you can enjoy this activity, which we describe below in the entertainment section.

BUNGEE
Bungee jumping involves jumping from a height with an elastic cord attached to a harness, which is fastened to the ankles or torso. The highest bungee jump in Poland is in Szczecin. If you decide to take a bungee jump, Szczecin invites you to Dream Jump, which offers jumps from a height of 252 metres. The organizers state that this is the highest bungee jumping facility in the world. Dream Jump is only available for adults. Before booking a jump, you should check all restrictions and contraindications, including health-related ones.
